MARINA AND YACHT CLUB
The Marina and Yacht Club attract sleek boats from all along the Fylde Coast.
More modestly, the visitor can rent a small boat or pedalo, or learn
windsurfing at Fleetwood's Windsurfing Club. On a smaller scale still, there is
a model yacht lake where annual championships are held.
FARMER PARR'S ANIMAL WORLD
Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood. Tel: 01253 874389 A fun day out for all
the family, with a range of things to see and do. Working farm, rare breed
animals, a Heritage Centre and 'petting' barn. Also a coffee shop and gift shop
sells fresh dairy produce alongside fancy goods and pottery.
THE MARINE HALL Marine
Gardens, Telephone 01253 771141. The Marine Hall offers daily and
evening entertainments, with catering, bars and events for all the family. Miss
Wyre Competition held here between July and August. Olde Tyme Music Hall held
on Wednesday evenings from July to September, and Sequence Dancing from

FLEETWOOD MUSEUM Queens

story of Fleetwood and its fishing heritage, visit the interactive gallery for
insight into the latest technology, learn about lifeboats and call into the
Dolls House to sample the entertaining experience of a 1930's 'Boarding House'
whose residents are all historical dolls.
JACINTA HERITAGE TRAWLER

878158 A 615 Tons fully renovated fishing trawler built in 1972,
Jacinta was Fleetwood's most successful wet-fish trawler, fully restored so
that the public can see how men worked off Iceland, in all weathers. Fully
guided tours with the genuine sea-farers to tell it how it was!
MODEL YACHTING LAKE The
Esplanade, Fleetwood Large purpose built model yacht lake, popular with
visitors and locals alike.
FLEETWOOD FERRY SERVICE
The Old Ferry Dock, Esplanade, Fleetwood. Fleetwood to Knott End
Ferry runs throughout the season from end Mar - beginning Nov inclusive. From
0800 - 1800 daily. (Service sometimes affected by tides).
