What you could be missing!
If you have never been to the North West's largest free event,
the annual Tram Sunday, you don't know what you are missing!. With a huge array
of vehicles from boneshaker pushbikes to Honda Gold wings and from Minis to
Steam Gallopers, everything is on display at this fantastic free event which
takes place in the Lancashire town of Fleetwood.
Over 50,000 visitors flock to the seaside town and enjoy the
street entertainers, fun rides and memorabilia stalls which offer everything
for the avid collector or browser. Street entertainers and market stalls line
Lord Street, which at any other time would be busy with cars, trams and buses.
Thanks to Wyre Borough Council, the street is only available to
pedestrians and the odd tram!
So if you want to enjoy a great day out for all the family,
get your self to Fleetwood and enjoy a great day out for all the family. The
next event will be held on 15th July 2007.
